I have none, and even if I didn't spend several days / nights a week away from home, I probably still wouldn't want one...
Not down to disliking them..... I just like to be free to go where I want, when I want and not have to worry about coming home to walk the dog etc.. |

I am staff to a beautiful 11 year old smokey grey girl cat and a gorgeously loving 3 year old tabby boy...I'd like a kitten - every time I see one needing rehoming, I want it...crazy cat lady from the Simpsons on the way |

you saying you want to be collared and owned then Caz?
I'm already owned...the cats allow me 10% of the bed if I'm lucky...soon as they evolve opposable thumbs, then I'll be collared I reckon "
that day's coming soon. |

I have two stunning 11 year old Ragdoll cats. They're rescues, and were really badly treated by the people who had them before.
They're healthy, loved and very happy now.
I met my first Ragdoll when I was 15 and waited 18 years to be owned by one. They are worth the wait. Raggies are very special. |

Two dogs, a deaf bearded collie and a daft labradoodle. I wouldn't be without them, even if one moults continually and the other is an out and out thief. |

You'd recognise my two then, as.the first ragdoll was mostly birman.
Mine have never realised that they could have independent control over their claws, so when the get cross and try to push you away it's just paw not claw!
They're pretty but not awfully bright! |

We have 2 elderly springer spaniels who still think they puppies
And 4 British short hair cats. We started with a blue boy Then got a wee female who keeps to herself. Finally we were persuaded to take two brothers that breeder didn't want to seperate as one was the runt and had bonded with his brother. Breeder saw us coming as those two are the most cheeky cats no wonder she couldn't find them a home but we love them to bits |

Thank you, it has been difficult, especially for my son when we lost our tiger as it was his cat. He wanted Slinky buried in the garden, where as I had Cookie cremated and he's at the side of my bed in his casket. |

My mum had a rescue Birman so yes, I'd recognise a Birman.
My Raggies are also very pretty but a bit dim. It's odd though, they're really daft but occasionally they'll work something out or do something that really surprises me. I call them differently intelligent. |

I tried the harness with my cats but they refused to play and it would have been a drag rather than a walk! |

I have an English Springer Spaniel who is gorgeous and I love her. She's 12 and starting to have old age ailments like the onset of arthritis and I think she may be going deaf.
Reading this thread has scared me a little though. It would be terrifying to walk into someones house for a meet and they have tarantulas, snakes and rats for pets. I just hope it never happens to me. I couldn't be comfortable thinking a hairy spider was in the house |
