One of my favourite moments has to be when Paddy goes cold turkey while his sons Shane and Mickey are outside his bedroom doing impressions of Jack Nicholson from The Shining.

A great show. It should have ended earlier than it did. I also thought the USA version was very good as well. But also went on too long. The best scene was Karen's test at the dinner table. |

I haven't seen the American version but have to disagree because the American version of queer as folk was much better than the UK original |
