Can you slide yourself smoothly into the tight little space? All lined up neatly? Or do you hit the sides?
Innuendoes aside, I'm actually pretty good. Except when I crash into things occasionally.
How good are you at parking?

I consider myself to be fairly good but I sometimes get nervous with tight parallel parking. When you're at risk of hitting a car onnthe opposite side if you swing out too far but obviously also don't want to git either of the cars you're parking between. |

"When you get your Smart car into a parking space big enough for a Juggernaut do you give yourself a high 5 OP ? "
Soooo cheeky lol. I don't have a smart car, it's an SUV so it's pretty tricky to park I'll have you know. I've only crashed 6 times |

I'm pretty good now.
When i was learning, almost 30 years ago, I'd get a queue of old ladies, sitting in their cars angrily waiting for me to move, as i attempted to park.. knowing they could do a much better job than me . |

"If nobody is watching I'm excellent. If there's anyone within a mile of me I'm rubbish"
When I first passed my test and got my first car I had to parallel park while still getting used to the new car and I did it in about 20 moves and stalled a few times and someone on the street actually laughed at me . |

Yeah I'm really good at parking. Used to sell cars, so would be moving cars in and around the showroom and forecourt in a regular basis.
Got 20/20 vision too, so that helps. (or at least I did 4 years ago when I last checked) |

I'm like that to! In fact if there are people around I will find another space.
When I was younger I reversed out of a space at the same time as someone in the next row behind. They were obviously in my blind spot because when I tried to pull off our cars had locked bumpers somehow. Anyway he (I assumed) carried on and pulled my bumper off. Ever since then I've been really careful in supermarket car parks! |

When you drive a huge estate you have two options. The one I go with is be good at parking. The one her ladyship goes with is get out the car and ask me to park
Front and rear parking sensors are however a massive bonus but have sadly led to me rarely bothering now to put my arm over the passenger seat to look behind.

Yeah! I was mortified at the time though. To be fair though when I got out the car I saw that the space was actually fairly big . |

If they drove off, chances are they were uninsured or just so incredibly bad at driving that they didn't realise. |

Yes, have had enough practice.
I love parking into a spot using the reflection of a shop window. The person sat in the car behind doesn't. All they can see is you looking at a shop window.... |

I’m a pretty good parker, I’ve also reversed a horse trailer into a space with 6 inches skate either side, and driven a 7.5 tonne lorry (yes, I was scared the first time ) |

Decent but I always will
Park in the easier space as think the time taking to park in a small space when other spaces available. |

never had a bump while parking since I started driving in 1988, and I've done thousands and thousands of miles since then, so I'd say I'm ok. |

Yeah, I take that approach parking in a supermarket. It's quicker to go up to the top part than fart about squeezing into a spot. It's always someone with a big assed car! |

I'm very good at parking. I have to use only one hand on the steering wheel, because my clutch is operated via a little lever on my gear stick (it's finger operated). I can parallel park my car in spaces with mm to spare and always park in the middle of the lines |

Lol pet hate of mine also
A 3 or 4 lane motorway reduced to a one lane over taking death trap.
One lane for driving the first lane, the other lanes are for over taking. I just undertake them on the driving lane. Mwahh
Love and peace but get out of my way. |

I’m the worst Parker ever! I mean absolutely terrible! It gives me palpitations even thinking about it! And for those that think dyslexia is just about an inability to spell, oh no!!! Shite parking ability can also be a part of it! I’m proof of that one haha. Miss pc |

A lifetime as a professional driver means I'm generally excellent at parking, though that's tempting fate I'm sure. I always reverse park, and usually aim for end-of-row spaces in car parks, as far away from other cars as possible! Despite my current car being slightly smaller I actually find it slightly harder to park than the one I had before, though thankfully it has a reverse camera to help. |

Yes I’m very good at parking it and I love to smash it … and girls love how wide my Mercedes is , and yes all walls fucked all way up… shutters , back gate totally destroyed , spilled oil everywhere … neighbours screaming and kicking off of the noise you making ,
6 am police on road , blue beacons every where ,
Fuck off , sun glasses , hit it …. Shops like nothing happened , came back home and just park the car again with a nice drink for my Julie |

"I can parallel park on the left with no problems - I'm right handed. Doing it on the right side of the road is still a challenge! Anyone else find this?"
I think that is probably fairly common as we usually park in the left due to driving on the left so we just get more practice in that side. |
