Park your car within the white lines in a carpark

"Ah but sometimes others don’t so you can’t and when you come back they’re gone and it looks like you can’t park "
I often have that in work. I start at 9 but most in my building start earlier so sometimes I'm left with not so ideal space ans have to fit in at an angle that allows me and them use of the doors then when I leave at 5 the car park is very empty and I look like I shouldn't have a licence . |

I parked in Morrisons today. First space, nearest the road with 3 empty spaces beside me and a lamppost in front of me. Came back from the shop and some old coffin dodger had parked so badly beside me that his back bumper was actually behind mine and his front bumper was well in his own space. Still 2 empty spaces along side him. I managed to get in but couldnt reverse without taking his rear bunoer with me and couldnt go forward because of the lamppost! He was so old that I just sat and ate my lunch and waited for him to leave rather than give him a heart attack |

I saw an article ages ago that told us we are all parking wrong, the passenger side is supposed to be against the white line so you as the driver have got plenty of room to get in and out, all the cars in the photos attached were parked like this, apparently we aren’t supposed to park in the middle of the lines, who knew eh? |

This is how I park but I didn't know it was a thing... Just convenient as means when my child swings her door open like she hates it it can't hit whoever I'm parked next to lol |

Erm, no, fat chance Vic.
A fair few twats tend to park how and where they want with no regard for others, including parking in disabled spaces when they shouldnt and driving way too fast in car parks full of families and young children.
This selfishness is a trait that is expertly carried through in their general driving particularly lane discipline and overall attitude.
Rant over. |

The space to open the door would be the same if everyone parked centrally than if everyone parked to the left.
Sounds like a typical nonsensical article you must have read! |

I saw that. It was just how they did things at a particular car dealership to ensure all the cars were equally spaced. |

"Not touching one of the white lines, not taking up two spaces, but between the white lines.
Or else....
Vic"
The space I parked in today had yellow lines instead of white. Just saying. |

Or else you may have some of the people on this thread to deal with. And you really don't want that! |

Can’t see that ending well for your “friend”, should they choose the wrong vehicle. |
