Hi gorgeous.

Not that I’m aware of - but I’ve previously been surprised to find that a number of forumites have blocked me. It’s something that used to upset me as I wondered what on earth I’d done to upset them - but I no longer let it concern me.

Some block many people - some block very few.

Perhaps the blocker in question messaged you and you didn’t respond? That alone is enough to make some people hit the block button. X

Has happened to me several times. Seems that some people use the block button to stop messages from people they don't fancy,never mind how nice & friendly they are.

I get people block for all sorts of reasons and if they don't like me.... Well, some people aren't going to like me and I accept that

I'm sure I've been blocked but not by anyone on my hot list which I may add has very few hot profiles in it. If people block me it's their choosing and out of my hands. I believe I have only ever blocked one profile during my time on this site.

I won't either and of course it's their perogative. But like you say when you've never spoken it seems odd.

But in fairness it shouldn't seem odd should it? Maybe something I said in the forums or on my profile made it clear I'm not the type they would get along with. And that's cool.

i have a quick gander at people on the forum from time to time and theres a few blocked me when ive never spoken to them before live miles away and as far as im aware never done anything to hurt them haha

like i was never gonna message them anyway so no need to block me but they have anyway up to them of course what they do but i never know why i am blocked haha

dont worry about it come and add me to the list instead haha

your profile states you are taking a break from fabs and your only interest is meeting women.

It could be something you e posted on the forum, many have blocked me for that.

One thing you must consider and this isn't meant to be rude. Maybe they just didn't fancy you.

There has to be attraction on both sides of course.

Another thing I recommend people to do is check your block list if you've used the mobile app. You can accidentally block someone if your are a fast typer.

They may have made a mistake op. But remember not everyone thinks we are attractive.

We’ve been blocked after arranging meets then being stood up. We’ve been blocked by people when we’ve said we can’t accommodate. I tend to block because they are repeat messengers, suspicious profiles, or people too close to home I don't want to meet (I'm a little risk averse still). I'd probably also block someone I knew or was frienda of friends. (Assuming I didn't want them to know)

Any of those a possibility ?

We use our block as a extra filter to stop us messaging people we have already chatted with and we weren’t their type or vice versa .So we never take it personally as there’s loads of reasons why someone has blocked you .

I added someone to my hot list yesterday but was blocked shortly afterwards, although they did message me to tell me why and that it was out of respect, not petulance.. But it made me sad
