I was born on a Friday 13th and popped out in a country that has political stability, easy access to food and water, an effective legal system, free education, temperate climate and I'm (apparently) in the top 1% of earners world wide. I reckon it was quite a lucky date for me.

Except for possibly wage, all the things I said are true for you too. I have no idea what you earn but several billion people live on less than $2 dollars a day. Even universal credit in this country makes you better off than the majority of the globe. I am certainly not a top earners UK standards.

Given a choice of 'luck' I'd take banging my head and stepping in dog shit over being forced to r@pe a family member by government soldiers in Ethiopia or used as sl@ve labour on a Chinese cotton plantation to pick just two stories of lives being lived right now. I guess it's about perception.

Of course wasn't comparing myself to the really unfortunate. Just happens to me a lot.

In general.

I find other people's misfortune hilarious maybe thats it.

Misfortune on slipping over not being able to eat by the way.

I own my own business I do, do well, but I'm also single and rent so out goings are just relevant to what you have or don't

"Magpies "

Talking of magpies, every time I see a dead one something bad happens and surely enough after seeing one on Saturday 15 minutes later one of our staff got kicked in the nose by one of the horses. Never seen so much blood gush from a nose

Thinking about it, I'm not superstitious but there is a resident crow at work that we named odin (or several that that get called the same thing but only ever see one at a time) and I do nod and say morning Allfather every time I see him so maybe I am after all
