"Currently listening to Legend, the Bob Marley compilation
Love a bit of Bob! Queuing him for after I’m done with M5 x "
My Spotify account has all sorts of different genres. Everything from piano concertos through to punk. Do love a good bit of swing or RnB too!! |

Oh same! I have the most eclectic music tastes. I can go from Motown to metal in a few songs. |

I think this is one of the weaknesses of streaming, as much as I use it all the time.
I used to have a library of CDs, and vinyl records. I'd go look at them on the shelves and spot something I'd not listened to for ages.
I don't have those reminders anymore, the Radio is ok for the odd jog, but even 6Music does not get down all the rabbit holes my musical tastes have taken me to over the years.
My memory is just not good enough on it's own to think of some of these artists. |

"I listen to Seal's albums while I do my housework.
I like his Soul 2 and 7 albums the best."
Can’t profess to knowing much of his stuff except kiss from a rose might have to give it a listen. |

I agree! With so much unlimited music at our fingertips we forget about the old ones plus there’s nothing better than a proper vinyl record. |

They are in the loft at my wife's house. Well it's our house, but she lives there!
Though I seem to remember thinning out the CDs. |

Came across my old Marillion vinyls over the weekend. They’ve all had an airing now (apart from the rare picture disk!!) ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

Russ Ballard - he writes some catchy stuff. Didn't realise he originally wrote "Since You've Been Gone?"
Billy Squire - very similar sound to Robert Plant. Great guitarist - very underated. Sounds like the spit of Plant in places. He's got a great catalogue of stuff. ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |

I am a song person rather than an artist album guy so the interweb suits me.
I am listening to
Randy Crawford - Rainy night in Georgia.
Van Morrison - Into the Mystic
Alexander O'Neal - If you were here tonight
Joe Bonnamassa - Drive
Chris Stapleton - Tennessee Whiskey.
and more. bit eclectic

Burt Bacharach currently.
If you want to hear a group that were good in the 80’s but now have improved with each album, Swing out Sister. Still going and making some great music.
Tonight I’ll be listening to Everything but the Girl as I love Tracey Thorn her song ‘By Piccadilly Station I sat Down and Wept’ is a personal favourite. |

Had 13th Floor Elavators debut and Jefferson Airplane's Surrealistic Pillow spinning this morning, followed by The Byrds Turn, Turn, Turn.
Then early Genesis Foxtrot, some Yes and Steve Hillage's Motivation Radio.
Now it's Ultravox! Debut Ultravox! Then it's going to be Joy Division's Unknown Pleasures and Caberet Voltare's Red Mecca. |

Just random playlist I made up on Spotify.
But I was torturing kids with 90s music and singing along yesterday. They need to know my old time favourites.
They didn't like Whitney Houston. I hope she didn't turn in her grave.![](/icons/s/wink.gif) |

After taking singing lessons for over a year it is strange
listening to him sing.
He uses a strsnge back of the throat technique thst clearly sits comfortable with him.
Unfortunately I dont agree his a good singer marvin gaye now his voice is cracking. Ising his tiny bits of distortion in the right places and vibrato in others perfect control |

I know, I was taking the piss. He couldn't help but like them, in his own words they embody the vibe of the first Led Zeppelin album. |

There’s certain oldies that from time to time I like to play, I know I’ll never tire of them.
The Walker brothers- no regrets
Harold Melvin and the bluenotes- the love I lost
Linda rondstadt - different drum
David gray - Babylon

We aren't listening to anything at the moment but we were in a club in Liverpool last weekend and we heard some great music from the 80's and 90's tht brought back great memories for us both. We had a fantastic time. |

"Really cheesy 90s music that I listened too in school/college and early career. Music has helped me massively over the past 18 months, a reason to smile every day."
That's great to hear. It's the best therapy sometimes, especially with a dance round the kitchen as well. ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |
