My understanding of Staycation is . Staying in home country . IE UK. Unless you are saying cruise around UK ? |

According to Oxford definitions.....
a holiday spent in one's home country rather than abroad, or one spent at home and involving day trips to local attractions. |

When the term first came in it was generally thought to mean staying at home.
I’ve seen loads of posts on social media from people going “a staycation is NOT a holiday in the UK”.
It seems to be a source of vexation for many  |
