As the weekend draws to a close and I’ve had to work I was wondering how everyone else’s weekend has been? You filthy lot had a good one or you all as boring as me? Haha |

That actually sounds like a decent weekend to be fair, I’d swap the stretchy pants for grey joggers tho for me haha |

I just finished work. I'm not paid outside of Mon to Fri though. That's the world of education at pinch points. I'm actually quite upset, because what's kept me at my laptop so late is a last minute disclosure about someone who has been caring for his mother after a suicide attempt. I'm upset for the individual for many reasons, wish I'd known sooner to be able to support them and also because it's a bit close to home for me (us).

I'm actually quite upset, because what's kept me at my laptop so late is a last minute disclosure about someone who has been caring for his mother after a suicide attempt. People like you deserve double pay, takes a special person to do that type of work. I imagine it being so rewarding at times but on the flip side when this type of thing happens you take it home with you and feel guilty. Hope you’re ok |

I want to cry, in all honesty. I know a bit of the backstory now and they simply don't deserve it. Mr KC is fast asleep, but we can discuss tomorrow, as colleagues.

I couldn’t agree more! My ex was a mental health nurse, college and uni the lot to get all the qualifications needed, worked 12 hour shifts and the pay was terrible. I honestly couldn’t believe how underpaid most NHS jobs are. Seriously needs looking into. These people deserve more |
