"This is to the people that post things about others
If you can't take being attacked stop attacking others
If it don't concern you why say anything"
Because conflict is in human nature, for whatever stupid reason?
I'm not gonna lie, I prefer issues threads and serious discussion over bland hi what's for dinner bollocks, but the serious stuff does seem to press a lot of triggers and get out of hand quick. |

You can have discussion without singling one group of people |

Not sure of the context of this post but recently I've seen people make a comment (which is very different from attacking someone) then get shot down in flames because others have decided to get offended by it. Also I've noticed how some people post things on here and get shit for it but someone a bit more popular can say the same thing to a chorus of approval.
This tends to happen a fair bit based on the gender of the OP as well.

It's just social dynamics and typical in-group and out-group behaviour. People think we've evolved but we're still following the same behavioural patterns from centuries before. |

Isn't that simply because there are many in the forums who believe their viewpoint is more valid and the only one that matters. Isn't that the fundamental problem with these forums? |

I like hearing different viewpoints and ideas. I might not agree with them but I'm not about to tell someone that their life time of experiences that has caused them to forge these opinions was time wasted and their conclusions wrong because they conflict with my own beliefs. |
