McDonalds parties

For those of the right age, did you have a McDonald's upbringing and what was it like? Very occasional food, parties etc?

La la land

There wasn't a McDonald's local to me until I was 18 ish. I remember going to a friend's party and we had one in my teenage years but we had to travel over 20 miles to go.

So it wasn't really part of my childhood at all. Did have a whimpy in the local town, and that was a rare treat as teenager for a friend's birthday party. Never went as a family.

I did once but it was because a McDonald's near me had an incredible indoor play area. One of those ones with all the tubes. I i wrnt for that rather than the McDonald's.

I used to be a party hostess so attended hundreds of them!! Nothing like spending hours wrapping felt tip pens in tray liners….. Then moved on to Wacky Warehouse parties…

I didn't and my parents never used them, ventured in at about 15. Hated the pickles and mustard on a burger. I have everything with just the extras I like now.

I wondered if people who grew up with them, went on to repeat this with their families.
