sad to hear he has passed away today aged 89, tho tbh as not heard about him for ages (probably because he moved to Oz) already thought he had passed on

recall having to watch his TV shows back in the 70's as mum liked him lol

In my hotel career, I've met many stars from all backgrounds,

Max was one of the best; the perfect gentleman, never a bad word to say, always charming and good mannered and a pleasure to have met him.
