My Great Great Grandfather on my Mum's side had a middle name, so I'm not sure it's anything to do with age/era.

I have a middle name. Have checked my brothers, father and his brothers middle name. Also on my mothers side in male line for my middle name. Cannot find . Yet in all males from father and mother side middle name is a Christian name of another direct relation. My brother has my fathers christian name as his middle name.
My middle name is James why ? |

My first name is one that nobody can say, spell, or remember, so I’m glad the middle one is relatively simple! |
