"I have a very eclectic taste in music and was wondering how many of you change your tastes to fit your mood? Or am I just weird "

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I do sometimes. There is some music good for any time.

But yes is the short answer.

Be warned, just because I do it doesn't mean you're not weird.....

roundabout

No you're not weird. I'd have thought it was quite common practice.

Yes. Feeling elevated then it's rock/alt. Feeling normal is jazz or classical (including OSTs). Feeling low I wouldn't bother.

If I'm not sure I use the flow mix on Deezer.

Of course there are shades of variation within that to include (alt)-country or Tom Waitsian, Nick Cavian and Leonard Cohenesque type stuff.

Sheffield

Isn’t it common practice to use music to match your mood?

My taste is all over the place, I'm drawn to strong/stand out vocals. Not a particular Artist or genre

I have go to artists/genres but I don't limit what I listen to (why I like the flow mix as it will throw up some surprises). I particularly like instrumental stuff but I'm always drawn to well written lyrics.
