"Lyme Regis - life enhancing and lots of lovely seafood."
Ooh yes, we go there regularly. We stay in West Bay, Bridport though but go to a cracking pub in Lime Regis, The Volunteer on the High Street |

You can't beat Bridport market day or the butcher's shop. Give us a wave if you see me in Lyme. I'll be there in a couple of weeks, although not on holiday. |

The Rope Makers Arms in Bridport is another great pub. They have live music nights too |

I've not been to the seaside in ever such a long time
Best time I've had was at a place near the Mull of Kintyre, think it was called Cambletown, rented a cottage with friends right at the sea front and got permission to camp a couple of nights at a private beach close by. Brilliant holiday with lovely memories |

You probably mean Thurlestone, or possibly Mothecombe, both stunning! |

It’s not a seaside resort, but I have a real love affair with the Black Isle, particularly the old town of Cromarty….. sigh……
But
Whitby is a good call too!

"Anywhere by the coast is good for me, just love being by the sea.
Whitby, St Ives and Combe Martin are just a few of my favourites though "
Coombe Martin along the coastal path to Wild Pear Beach - I haven't done that in years. |

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack! |
Got to give a shout for Swanage in Dorset. Still almost 1960s with the railway, Studland nudist beach nearby and if you delve deep enough, many of the buildings have strong connections with London in quite a surprising way.
But a big thumbs down for bloody Weymouth. Can`t stand the place! |

Hate hate hate blackpool with a passion....
I likes the likes of scarborough and morcambe, for strolling.
But if i want quiet and a humungous clean beach, i likes to go to a little place called borth, north wales.
Its like stepping way back in time. |

Blackpool, hugely fond memories from when I was a child. And it's where we laid my grandparents to rest. Well I say to rest, we threw them off the end of Central Pier.
However, I also adore Whit by. It is an amazing little town, with very 'entertaining' memories!!! |

Having lived in Brighton most of my life I still have breaks away in other seaside towns. Newquay and Torbay were always favourites but Bournemouth takes some beating and the beautiful Dorset coast to the west. Nearer to home Eastbourne Worthing and Littlehampton are great for a day out. |

I live in Norwich so have several beaches within a 20 mile drive.
I take my little lad to Great Yarmouth or Hemsby when we feel like a bag of chips or donuts and a couple of hours in the 2p arcades.
For a nice walk along the beach you can't beat the tiny village of Sea Palling. Norfolk has a variety of gorgeous sandy beaches, rock pools, cliffs, dunes...Cromer Crabs, Samphire and of course lots of seals/birds absolutely spoilt for choice!! |
