I bought crab sticks from the supermarket and it made me think of the cockle man for some reason. And smoking in pubs lol |

Yes!! Everyone used to shout "Super Cockle" at him then pretty much clear him out... It was a rugby club full of pissed up players and their families... Loved it  |

Reconstituted crab sticks... Thing is whatever you bought from the "shellfish" man was always drowned in vinegar and pepper so couldn't taste anything anyway. |

There's no crab in them. They are mushed up mashed fish with additives painted pink and rolled up n squashed......

Yes I remember him and the on going joke every week..... have you got crabs!! the d*unks would think its the funniest punn and brilliant that they had come up with it!! Our fish man would sell a cheese and cracker packet X2 cream crackers, cheese triangle and 2 pickled onions yum that was always my purchase. I'm still the odd one out now and it's just the way I like it lol kinks x |
