Sugar in their drinks?
Previously I had always taken 2 heaped spoon of sugar. I gave the sugar up for a while but its creeping back in!
Now sometimes I take sugar and other times I don't.
Do you take sugar?.
have you it up?
Or like me do you swap and change?

Same, used to have sugar in tea and coffee but haven't in a few years now. Actually I limit myself to with 1 Cup of tea or coffee a day now. My main intake is water. |

"Yes I have 2 in coffee… cut out all other sugary drinks but coffee is my nemesis.
Coffee is an evil mistress..... It's no good for me but I can't survive without it "
Snap… I need 2 buckets before I can communicate. |

"No, I have a little bit of honey in tea... I try and avoid coffee as it needs alot of sweetening now I don't smoke and it has to be real sugar"
Oh the ciggies!...that's something else I'm trying to give up |

I can take it. I'm renowned for my ability to take it.
Wait... what was the question?
I prefer no sugar, but if I'm out on a dirty chemical plant somewhere and one of the engineers makes a drink you get what you get: tea, coffee, black, white, with sugar, without - whatever is going is what I'll drink! |

It's best not to talk to me before I've had my first coffee of the day |

Managed to completely ween myself off it in drinks. For coffee, a barista (maybe they were being slightly precious) explained to me that the sweetness of the sugar detracted from the taste of coffee and encouraged me not to put it in. |

This week I just happened to see one meme quoting something like “You know you’re getting old, when you start enjoying your coffee without sugar”
Felt so related in two ways: age and personal preference. I reckon when I was younger I enjoyed putting sugar on my drinks, nowadays not so much and I enjoy more natural flavurs. Perhaps I’ve always been more of a sour type taste person and really never have sweet thooth.
But defo no sugar for me anymore in my drinks and I don’t miss it at all. |

"Always had three vices, gave up the drink when I retired from the trade, smoking due to health, now I only have the one vice left (sex) to give up that’s why I joined fab."
Mine was sex drugs and rock music roll...as you said..giving up 3/3 ain't bad |

Nah, take my coffee black, tea with only milk (and strong enough to refloat the titanic) and always had diet drinks.
Still fat and fillings so no idea what else went wrong in life.
Too many carbs |

No sugar for me
But I am a bit switchy with milk in coffee
Generally black and nicely bitter first thing - a real wake you up taste. Often a bit of milk in the afternoon.
This could be a slippery slope....if I carry on like this I'll be taking a strap on before you know it

I like a little honey in my tea.
There's a little honey I'd like under the duvet too.

I take half a teaspoon in tea and two in coffee as I can't stand bitter coffee. I do have a very sweet tooth but tea just tastes wrong if it's overly sweet. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that, 100 years or so ago, sugar was very much a luxury item. People used to blacken their teeth with charcoal to make them look rotten in order to appear affluent enough to afford sugar. |

I have strong black coffee. I love it also with milk and sugar but only have this if I know I have not had time to eat much and need a sugar boost. |

"I fucking love honey, I but 4/5 jars at a time, easily do a jar a week or less"
I love honey too and haven’t been ill for years, I buy local honey for my kids and it stops hay fever if they take a teaspoon every day. I like black honey from the Middle East , acacia honey , lavender and pine. Not sure about Manuka £30-£40 a jar, is it worth it ? |

I used to take standard milk and two sugars. Then I worked for 5 years in an office where the milk was usually off and there was never any sugar, so I defaulted to black none (spare me the Whoopi Goldberg puns). That's where I still am.. |

I havent' taken sugar in anything since I was about 15and three quarters Anabelle. Never went back to it ever. I find drinks more refreshing without it.
My brother used to say ........ That's rubbish you eat chocolate and cake but don't take sugar ?????
I used to want to punch his face for not being able to discern the difference. |

Nah, I used to take 2 teaspoons in my coffee and used to drink chai every day which is filled with the stuff.
But now I drink coffee and English tea without the sugar and it actually tastes better |

None since I was 15, but I have a high sweet tooth.
So its been a good thing for me to stop taking it.
Black coffee and even half a spoon full of sugar dosnt taste nice when youve run out of milk. |
