If it’s something I’ve never tried it has to be an egg that has a chick inside it, it’s boiled them eaten. It’s a delicacy in a SE Asia, can’t remember which, but just seeing it on a TV programme where fathers take their first generation children back to their roots was enough.
Something I’ve had before has to be cockles, whelks, muscles, oysters and snails basically anything out of a seashell, but love a scallop |

I've done a few different insects for reasons, actually wasn't too bad.
Rats, stoats and polecats are OK as long as you avoid the livers as rife with Hepatitis.
Pigeon when it's reared for food is not bad, gamey chicken really.
White chocolate, mushrooms and marzipan are all in my "I'd really rather not ever eart" if if starving you'll eat anything that isn't halfway rotten. |

Thankfully the Rat/Stoat combo was only theoretical as I was in a group with a god hand touched fisher so we avoided that exercise.

Yup, I'd grab one out of garden and crunch it down rather than Ocra.
My step father was from North India and for the 3 years before O left home this was a constant in our kitchen. He was a great man and I admired so much about him apart from his inability to realise how terrible ocra is. |
