Why do people post this up,like surly it's a swinging site not the weather report,always feels a bit odd to me when I see updates like this or just chatting surly there's other sites for chat and other things,or is it people trying to catch people out on here ??
Just wanted to get that of my chest and wondering what other peoples thought where |

People are here for many different reasons, cams, photos, many just want to talk dirty to someone or about someone. Guys like to see if they can still pull, girls want to see if the are still abled to be pulled.
Meeting is only one part, and then only a fraction of that part actually meet.

I came here seeking an FWB and found one. I still enjoy chatting to people, reading the forums, and generally being a part of the community. I even still meet people occasionally for new experiences, socials or to give a veri despite not actively looking for meets. |

Exactly, if I had to reply to everyone that I’m not meeting now, I’d basically be replying all day everyday.
And just because I’m logged on fab it doesn’t mean I’m looking for dick…

It can be quite confusing at times.
There's those not meeting, yet putting in some good effort on their profile.
Then there's those that are seeking to meet and put very little effort into their profile.
The mind boggles.
In this sense though, it can be many a reason.
They have ongoing personal issues, or enough meets planned already.
There's so much more to this site than meeting for sex.
Socials, chat rooms, pictures, forums, private messages for all kinds of things like arranging meets or simply fantasizing. |

Probably stops a load of hassle tbh ... A lot of people rely upon some support on social media sites. Maybe they can't get out at all - but able to chat and still be connected to a sexy site like this....
If there is someone you wanted to meet. Think about still talking to them on occasions, you never know they might change their mind. |

I've got that at the top of my bio at the moment. I use this site how I want, and won't apologise for it.
I can be here to chat with friends, use the forums, post photos and to build connections for when I do decide to meet new people. The only reason I'm not meeting new people is because I'm busy lately and I've got a bloody awesome fwb right now who's ticking all my boxes. Doesn't mean I've got to leave the site! |

I don't want or expect the Spanish inquisition because I've said I'm not meeting. It's my choice. I'm here still for my friends, to perve when I feel like it and occasionally the forum. Oh and to post pics sometimes. Why anyone is on here is really no one else's business. |

I’ve been unwell, and now I’m recovering, and I’m really bored, should I leave the site because I can’t meet at the mo?
I like using the forums, looking at pretty pictures and posting my pictures, it’s everyone’s right to use the site as they wish. |

Everyone has reasons for havering periods where they are not meeting people especially at the moment. But it could be they have found people they can regularly see and as such do need anyone else at the time. It could be they are ill, or maybe they have found and love the party scene. This site is not 1800 find a fuck some people use this community and site for more |

Because not everyone uses the site in the same way that you do OP.
Everyone is here for their own reasons and their own enjoyment.
Some might only be interested in the forums.
Some might still be cautious about meeting again as we emerge from this global nightmare we've been living with. |

Anyone Is free to use fab in a way that suits them,we're only doing social meets and state this.
We like to still use the forums and stay in touch with friends though.
If people are upfront and clear about why they're here, you can easily avoid those that don't meet what you're seeking.

I'm not meeting at the moment, my profile is very clear about that & explains that I'm purely here for the forums and to keep in touch with existing friends , but I still get multiple messages every day asking me to meet or to chat It drives me insane

Unfortunately, even when you post status updates saying that you aren't meeting, & then say it again on your profile, there are still always people who just see that you are online and send "meet now" messages anyway. These are often the same ones who post rants about how rude it is when people don't reply to messages |

People use fab for whatever reason, theres no set way. Some use it for that confidence boost, some use it to meet, some like myself use it for the forums and chat. Who cares really if someones not wanting to meet then so be it, find someone that does.

I'm on here for the forums and to chat to people who I have gotten to know .
Yet again though I don't see why what others do on here is anyone elses business and if someone has that on their profile or status you aren't being lead on. If you still choose to contact someone who has it and then get stroppy when they have to repeat themselves because you think you should be the exception well tough that's on you.
People use this site in a way that suits them just because it isn't what you want is irrelevant and it is easy to just ignore the profiles that are not in line with what you are looking for . |

I tick every 'Looking for' box so that I get loads of mail from desperate people begging to fuck me. Then it feels great to say nooo I'm not meeting. Gives me a sense of power turning them all down.
I could easily just untick everything but that doesn't give me an ego boost or sense of superiority. |

My filters are set pretty tight but I join in on the forums and there are times when that may involve allowing messages to get through.
I don't think it is too much to ask for people to take a few seconds to read a profile & to respect what it says. |
