"Play for you outdoors who would you choose
Cream great choice "
I was very into live bands as a teenager in 60’s/70’s and saw many famous bands in London, Surrey and at festivals.
Never got to see Cream live though as they split just after I discovered their music. Still listen to them and watch their Albert Hall gig. |

"I would be greedy and have a festival in my back yard, the line up would be Pink Floyd, Montrose, Deep Purple, Joe Bonamassa, Garry Moore and the Grateful Dead"
Would have to be early Pink Floyd though - later years were a bit pants. |

Bon Scott's AC/DC...AC/DC haven't ever written anything to come within as ass's roar of the songs they recorded with Bon, 13 out of 20 of the songs they still play live are Bon era songs...over 41 years since he passed. |

I love the Beatles and I think they are very underestimated as they influenced all the music that followed them. But I’m not sure they were a fabulous live band. I often listen to their music though. |

Massively overrated in my own opinion. I love that they generate tourism in my city…… though driving past strawberry fields is a pain in the arse at times because of the tourists. |

Who doesn’t BBQ kittens? As long as you marinade them they are delicious.
I don’t hate them though. I like a few songs but they aren’t as good as people make out. |

Montrose.....now there's a blast from the past! Saw them do a short set at the Valley, 1974 I think it was.
Headlined by the Who, with Humble Pie, Lindisfarne, Lou Reed, Maggie Bell and Bad Company.

Oh, I don't know...
Saw Clapton at Harefield House (up near Leeds), great gig in the open air.
Yes, the toilets overflowed and "it" all flowed downhill, but it you were careful where you stood.... |

That doesn’t make them the best. Lots of crap artists sell out big venues. I’m not saying oasis are crap but they are by no means the greatest band ever. |

I saw them live three times in 2017 and I agree. Axl is still a great showman but he's not what he once was. The musicianship though was phenomenal. |

Early Genesis, with Phil Collins just on drums and BV (not singing about his next divorce): but with Peter singing in that red dress and Fox head and Steve Hackett performing Horizons too .
(This time with no electrical or sound issues).
Supper is truly Ready!
I've seen Peter live twice, wish I saw him stage diving in Athens in 1986...his best solo gig ever.

I've worked two different Gallhager brother shows, half the audience were pissed up knuckle dragging half witts that couldn't find the toilet or just couldn't be bothered to look for it- not exactly music intellectuals (or any sort of intellectual).
