I was very into live bands as a teenager in 60’s/70’s and saw many famous bands in London, Surrey and at festivals.

Never got to see Cream live though as they split just after I discovered their music. Still listen to them and watch their Albert Hall gig.

Led Zeppelin circa 1973"

Lingfield

The Doors, Hendrix, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin from my early years, the Clash and the Jam, Springsteen of course and The National. It would probably have to be a weekend festival.

That doesn’t make them the best. Lots of crap artists sell out big venues. I’m not saying oasis are crap but they are by no means the greatest band ever.

Yes I still listen to Nick Drake - saw him live at Ewell College in early 70’s when I lied about my age.

I saw them live three times in 2017 and I agree. Axl is still a great showman but he's not what he once was. The musicianship though was phenomenal.

Peterborough

Early Genesis, with Phil Collins just on drums and BV (not singing about his next divorce): but with Peter singing in that red dress and Fox head and Steve Hackett performing Horizons too .

(This time with no electrical or sound issues).

Supper is truly Ready!

I've seen Peter live twice, wish I saw him stage diving in Athens in 1986...his best solo gig ever.

I've worked two different Gallhager brother shows, half the audience were pissed up knuckle dragging half witts that couldn't find the toilet or just couldn't be bothered to look for it- not exactly music intellectuals (or any sort of intellectual). Noel thinks he's Lennon and liam desperately want to be Ian Brown

Knobworth seems appropriate for Oasis.
