Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Please post your results here.

How many times have you used your word?

Who and what was their word?

Did you use a monocoque and where?

Did you spot what the words had in common?

I actually lost count of how many times I used my word.... but I think I got away with it and not too many people noticed.

"I actually lost count of how many times I used my word.... but I think I got away with it and not too many people noticed."

To be fair, I think there aren't enough hours to count how many times you used your word. You were spotted and Diamondsmiles won that prize.

I used my word three times...

That's the same number as the week previous when polo set my word, (wouldn't want polo thinking I'd favoured you... ...)

I'll try harder next week...

You do win the monocoque prize, I think. With a bonus prize for finding the teensiest monocoque ever.

"What are the full rules - in full."

They are evolving. The game came from the Polo Emporium. I added a modification of having a wordkeeper. This week it is words and phrases of a naughty nature as Polo is the wordkeeper.

The basic game is to use your word on posts, in private messages and out in the world. You report how many times you have managed to use your word. If people spot your word they can contact the wordkeeper for confirmation.

At the end of the week participants post their results and their guess of who had what word. Except, they don't.

As wordkeeper this week I decided on a loose common theme for the words.

"What are the full rules - in full."

The new rules:

The wordkeeper for the next week will open a thread.

If you wish to be allocated a word, you will need to ‘reply privately’ to the wordkeeper (the OP of the thread) from the thread to request a word. This will prevent the wordkeeper from finding out they can’t send you a word because of how your filters are set… as wordkeepers are allowed to tell you why they can’t send you a word (or phrase) in the thread as it breaks the forum rules, sometimes, apparently.

The wordkeeper allocates the words and keeps a record of who has been given a word (or phrase) and what the word (or phrase) is…. and may post a list of players in the thread.

Once you have a word (or phrase) you can try to use it as many times as possible Monday to Friday, not bother or imagine you have a completely different word (or phrase) and use that as many times as possible. You may also wish to guess what word (or phrase) other players are using…. but keep your guesses private between you and the wordkeeper until the results thread is posted…. please.
