"Why are some of those dressage horses wearing snazzy ear hats? I'm sure someone on here will know "Two reasons. Some have fly fringes on them (to keep flies out of their eyes) but also serve to deaden the noise in the arena somewhat. Probably less needed for noise reduction in the empty stadium of Tokyo but I'm sure there are lots of irritating flies there. | |||
