"Cherries and dates (but only the soft jammy medjool dates. I am quite particular about them)."
My fav time is Ramadan as then the local Asian shop has many varieties or them to chose from and try. I want to make a date cake once. |

"Oh except kiwi, especially with the skin on
It's where all the magnesium is and has a delightful sour taste."
I don't like kiwi without the skin on so i doubt I'll like it with the skin on ! |

After my last job where I was buying thousands of tonnes of industrial grades each year I'm only just coming back to them. This year's UAE medjools were absolutely gorgeous, and I had some Californian Zahidis that were stonkingly good. |

My nan use to make a lovely date and walnut cake when I was little. It was delicious, but the recipe went with her |

"Dragon fruit it's soooooo nice"
I thought that was one of the most disappointing fruits that I have tried, from the name, shape and colour I thought it was going to be quite exciting, but rather quite bland (The purple skinned ones I'm talking about...) |

Are we going to have to have another conversation about recipes? |

Grapes. I really like grapes.
Red grapes.
Squashed red grapes.
Well, red grape juice, if I’m honest.
And I like it fermented.
Red grape juice, fermented.
Ok; red wine…,
I like red wine. |

Cherries, strawberries, anything I can pick at whilst driving or watching telly.
Maybe apples in the liquid form of cider as well!!but not when I’m driving as I don’t like to spill it |

Lychees - but only fresh ones, not tinned.
Poire Williams or the juicy Italian ones
Apricots - but only very ripe and ripened by the sun
Mangoes- ditto to apricots
Jaffa oranges - the ones that have some baby ones growing inside |

Up on them there hills |
"Durian fruit, can prepare you for an unexpected meet.
I've seen hotels in Thailand specifically saying 'No Durian' in your rooms "
You can’t blame them, what possessed the first person to try one is one step beyond insanity. |

Dragon fruit.
They look like child's rubber toy with horns on. When you cut into them they have the most flourescent purple flesh that's dazzling. Only tried them recently. They taste a bit like kiwi fruit, very refreshing.
Apparently they grow on a cactus type tree, so they are hard to find, but you can sometimes get them here during summer months. |

Between wisbech & Kings lynn |
A nice firm pear, if they are too ripe I'm not keen as don't like the mushy texture (same reason I hate bananas).
Occasionally a braeburn or granny Smith apple and if there are merengues and cream handy some strawberries |
