Terra Firma

9 bites in the last 3 days, I have tried Deet, citronella oil and vitamin B, nothing is stopping the onslaught.

The bites are similar to bites I have had in Asia and Africa, huge and terribly itchy!

Are you getting more bites this year?

A few weeks ago I went to bed fine and woke up the next day with 23 bites all over me and they were horrendous, very sore and itched like mad.

Only thing that helped heal them was After Bite and Aloe Gel.

Nothing seemed to get rid of it happening though and never once saw them flying around my bedroom.

Use a hot tea spoon on them, as hot as you can bear, it helps break up the protein that causes the itching.

Ouch! I seem to be getting off lightly compared to you. They do seem to have a cloak of invisibility, little b****ds

Tiger Balm is godly for bites - get yourself a little jar of it.

Apparently mosquitos are attracted to c02, so the more you produce (unfit) the more likely you are to get bitten.

I haven't had any this year but I've been ravaged by them on trips.

Avon so soft keeps them and flies at bay. Use it on my horses and myself snd never been plagued!

La la land

I use anthisan bite and sting cream. My skin really reacts badly to bites and this is the only thing that calms it down.

I use Zambuk

And have also recently bought a electric mosi catcher

It sits next to the telly by the back door and so far have 7 mosi in it!

I tend to not get bitten much if I remember to put zambuk on

If I walk the dogs with shorts on I can bitten all over my legs. They swell into quite large lumps so I just use an antihistamine to take them down.

Then scratch the hell out of them and pick the scabs

East London

I don't get bit often, but when I visit my friend who lives by the Thames I always get one on my right foot and shoulder.

Eurax is the only thing i have found to help with the itch well that and having a bath.

I've been eaten alive so i feel your pain. We must have very delicious blood and should stay away from vampires.

We should inspect one another's bites.
