Bexley

Just having my habitual breakfast of 2 wheat bisks in semi skimmed milk and topped with half a banana and half an apple.

What is your favourite cereal and do you ever feel like varying your choice?

Dry granola - either almond/raisin, tropical or berries.

I'm not a cereal lover. Most are worse than sweets.

I will eat : Weetabix, Porridge oats, All bran , ......... that's it.

I do make my own stuff by adding fruit n nuts n stuff....

I don't have milk but I will treat myself to almond milk .

I like the plainness of Shredded Wheat and Weetabix. I like them with Jersey or full cream milk, fresh berries, preferably raspberries, cashew nuts and almond.

Cereal - may as well just eat a bowl of sugar.

Nasty stuff usually eaten with more stuff that's little more than sugar.

Tasty though and chilled cocoa pops with ice cold, full fat milk in a chilled bowl is one of the things on my six months left to live menu.

Vary between corn flakes, no added sugar, Weetabix or porridge. However I tend to have corn flakes when it's not breakfast time.

Coco pops don't even have much sugar in anymore, that's why they don't taste anywhere near as nice as they used to

My favourite is either Honey Nut Cornflakes or Frosties.

My usual breakfast is just a plain boring porridge though.

No all carbs are converted to glucose once consumed but the speed at which that happens is very different. Hence why rice, potato etc are classed as complex carbohydrates and not simple sugars

Cheshire, Windermere ,Cumbria

If I’m home during the week it’s porridge (the real stuff not sachet) soaked overnight in milk with cinnamon, sultanas and cranberry’s with added honey and golden syrup after cooking, it’s got to be thick enough for the spoon to stand up in but weekends is weetabix (3 of) or similar with sugar and cinnamon and hot milk, again needs to stay thick

Will as cornflakes mixed with those wheat type ones with cinnamon...every day

All carbs are sugars. All of them are converted to glucose once ingested.

Depends what muscle group I'm about to do in yhe gym after breakfast. If its legs, I have a 300g tub of cottage cheese with pineapple. If it's any other muscle group, I have a banana and a high protein yogurt, washed down with a cup of coffee.

It won't taste sweet but your body will process it as sugar.

Not raw though, bodies struggle with that.

Berry burst all bran crunch cereals from Kellogg’s

SO GOOD, I put extra strawberries and then cover it in soya milk.

Sits for 20 mins as I like my cereals to be soggy and then voila *chefs kiss*
