"Bell End"
I know there are a couple of Bell Ends around the country but the one near me shares a signpost with Lickey End, which makes me snigger childishly every time. |

there is a street in York called Whip-ma-whop-ma-bam
in days of old it was custom to take your wife down there and tie her up if she had bad mouthed you, burnt your tea etc! The locals would then throw facaes, rotten food etc at them. oh how times change! |
