in solidarity with his 5 year old son who likes dressing up in girls' clothes. I just saw this story on the net and it made me curious. What do we make of that? Is dad right to support his son or what should he do? |

I think a child of 5 simply deserves the right to enjoy being innocent without anyone judging or impeding their development by enforcing adult values upon their natural curiosity to explore…  |

Maybe right, but only if kept in private. Personally I don't think it's got anything to do with supporting his son, more using the son as an excuse. |

Maybe right, but only if kept in private. Personally I don't think it's got anything to do with supporting his son, more using the son as an excuse."
Interesting point, as that was also mentioned in some reader's post - asking whether dad was seeking an excuse to"come out" himself. |

I guess there’s no official rules to parenting so some parents will naturally over compensate for their childrens innocent quirks….!.
However if this particular father is teaming his own skirt wearing with fishnets and a handbag there might be some cause for concern…
But seriously, the guy should just let his kid enjoy being a kid, and drop the silly notion he’s actually helping by drawing even more attention to his child by his own abstract behaviour.
