What does everyone think of this show being cancelled?

I think good riddance. I reckon it won't be long until the other talent shows like Britain's Got Talent are scrapped.

Was a camera technician for this show for about 6 years. Became very tiring, and monotonous, had to leave.

Sad Fountain Studios is no longer around, but such is life

I used to watch x factor until the last three or four series. I enjoyed it, I enjoy The Voice, Bake Off and Sewing Bee too.

I suppose if ratings drop these shows will naturally come to an end

Genuine question.

Why are people concerned about TV shows they don't watch?

"What is wrung with televised talent competition? Do you think real music has to start in a shed or something ?"

Because they're mainly rigged from behind the scenes and most of the contestants are already professionals.

"Genuine question.

Probably for the same reason about people on Fab who don't meet!

The Town by The Cross

I always watched it on replay ........

Cut out the judges and the faux sentiment and humility.

I did enjoy the show though. There has been some excellent talent on it over the years.

"Brilliant news now just for Twat Island to follow!"

I don't watch twat island but it's very popular with younger people ....

I vote there is life in it yet. It's just here with moving pictures.

Never watched it, but glad it's gone. Now if BGT, love island and real housewives would go too, I'd be happy.

Oh and let's not forget bloody Strictly.

Good shout with Real Housewives..... where do they get such grotesque people ?

I'll excuse strictly on the strength of the dancers but on format...... SHITE

I have a daughter who is devastated. She did however know before the announcement as she got sent an email( well I did for her)

It entertained a lot of people but Simon didnt see much point in it continuing.

North London

Reality TV is not the same as it used to be, the shows that used to pull in millions of viewers are now just too repetitive, predictable and boring.

No doubt there will be a raft of new reality TV ideas coming, but they've been hit hard by the issues contestants have faced after the shows end. The mental health problems and unfortunate loss of lives.

I haven't even got a telly. It really helps in discouraging anyone with ideas of moving in or even coming round here too often.

Sometimes I watch these piffle shows when visiting other people. That makes me glad I am different.
