Do you love your job
Jump to: Newest in thread
Yes I do. The pay is pants but I have a good pension. Also a good, flexible boss & generally great colleagues. I’ve been there nearly 24 years.
T is self employed. I can’t imagine him doing anything other than what he does. His pay is dire & his hours are very long but he seems happy & is good at what he does.

As a self employed trades person I love the work but sometimes hate the job. I get a great sense of job satisfaction when I walk out of a house. The admin side of things is what I don’t like though. |

Don't love my job. Really don't think I'd love any job because it's still work. I like my job lots and the people, companyand nature of our business means I wouldn't really want to do anything else. |

"I’ve been in jobs I’ve liked, saying you love your job implies you’d do it for nothing, or as a hobby, which I never would. "
I do love my job and, yes, I do volunteer doing it on days off with/for the kids! |

If I won the lottery I'd do it on a voluntary basis for a few charities close to my heart.
I really do love it. |

Not so much the company I work for now, but definitely wouldn't think of changing careers. I find what I do to be rewarding in many ways even though it can draining and stressful at times. |

Nope hate it!
Pre covid had a job I love, felt like I was seeing friends rather than going to work.
Then got current job, hate it, been looking for other employment since Jan to no avail. I clock watch, don't want to go in find it boring, I'm not learning and just want to leave

I worked in hospitality for many years, initially in the commercial kitchen side but in latter years mainly being bars, up till last year I had the pleasure of running a pub, it isn't a job, it's a way of life, and I bloody loved it |

I do very much love my job, it’s been challenging, hard at times, scary and adrenaline fuelled. But I’m getting old and it’s very much a young mans game.
Thinking of a full career change or maybe UK based at least |

I do love my job, I love the children and in 25 years I have loved after a lot of Children
My new job has pushed me to the limit, questioned my practice and I feel like I don't quite fit in with the others making me question if I really want to be working with children anymore
But then I take a deep breath and remember what it is that is important the Children....A little girl came and hugged me today saying "you're my favourite teacher because you laugh lots and that makes me happy"
