I think you are marketing this all wrong.... asking politely isnt really selling it.
Amp up the hype.
Amazing all expenses paid!

And rather then casually asking for hands raised... make more of the competive nature for aplicants.

"I would have to know someone pretty well before I would consider jetting off for a week with them."
I've met three travelling companions through this and a more fetish orientated site clocking up sixteen weeks in the US, 5 weeks in Japan and 3 weeks in the Czech Republic.
Pointy bit of the aircraft, extremely good hotels and restaurants.
Hence my reference to having a Passport on my profile. Oh, and no criminal record as the US and Japan tend not to allow people with convictions into their countries and it's way more fun travelling with someone else rather than watching them being escorted back through immigration to wait for the next flight to the UK. |

I’ve had meets in Dubai and India, got invited for a free holiday in Goa in a luxury apartment with a wife included  and another time got to camp in the desert outside Dubai , amazing experiences.
Had some scary experiences travelling in Africa , outback Australia and Bulgaria, had a plane take an unscheduled stop in the Congo once on someone’s lawn ! but nothing compares to getting through passport control at JFK they are brutal |

Yep, butlins, 80s and lager and black ladies scare the hell out of me. I went once, I got dragged on stage by Fake That , still have nightmares |
