Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else, as not sure if I've been (almost) scammed, or a coincidence:
I clicked on an advert on Train line, that said £100 Dominos pizza reward card. Which stated I would need to carry out a survey etc. which wanted to know a lot of personal details including e-mail and telephone number. Got to the bit where I needed to spend about £10 So thought nope.
About 30 seconds afterwards, I got something from yahoo, saying someone was trying to use a device, to access my yahoo e-mail account. Which I blocked.
A text has just arrived now, saying I need to click a link to complete the rewards card process.
Wondering if anything like this has happened to anyone else? |

Expect to get lots of spam mail and phone calls for a while if you gave them your address and phone number. |

Unfortunately gave them the lot.
I was getting several weird news item thingys on the net, flashing up on the top of my phone.
Managed to go in and edit the settings on their website for me. Which for now it seems, have stopped. So paws crossed. |
