So I jump in the forums and alway find away to bring up whiskey.

I am a collector of whiskey and over the years I have created a nice palette I'm pretty good at identifying the casting and flavours within whiskey.

I don't drink to get best more for the flavour and enjoyment and craftsmanship. Useless it's celebration time.

Which tomorrow is my birthday (38).

So if you was coming to my birthday party what drink would you bring?

.

Note if you bring white lightning, strongbow, bells whiskey (any whiskey under £20) lambrini or any 3 for £10 wine you are barred.

My fella is studying to be a sommelier…… I appreciate and understand the finer wines.

I’m sure this is similar in whiskey.

Atholl Brose, not sure of the price. I think the price comment is a bit meh. But then your talking to the person who prefers bolinger with pure orange juice

I always bought my gramp a bottle of Glenmorangie, Glenfiddich or one of the whiskeys with ____Red Label _____ Black label (I forget the full names).

He was always the easiest to buy for at Christmas so I think I’d bring you a similar offering.

I’m not a huge whiskey drinker, but I bought my mate a bottle of this for his 50th. Even I enjoyed it though it’s called Lagavulin 16

I’m afraid I’m still in the young drink to get d*unk phase and don’t enjoy the taste of proper alcohol.

Amaretto is about as fancy as I get. I’ll see myself out.

I don't keep whiskey in the house, I can't. I've got the breaking strain of a soggy kitkat. These whiskey collectors are incredibly restrained. No idea how they have those amazing whiskeys in the house an NOT drink them.

I have about 17 different nice bottles open at the mo. Only people who appreciate the craftsmanship get a glass. Any one else its good old jack or jim the cheeper stuff which I dont mind if they use a mixer.

.

I got a bottle of Yamazaki 12 Year Old and got a few glasses out. Poured a nice amount went to go and get the ice and one of my dear friends started pour Pepsi into his. Hulk smash time I will never offer him a drink ever again.
