In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon |
So this morning, I got up, took a step and tripped over. I'm not sure what I tripped over, could have been a moth. Or a speck of dust. Possibly my own aura. I'm talented like that
I then proceeded to do a weird twirl (think baby elephant doing a pirouette and you're probably close) and land hard on the corner of the bedside unit. So I have a bruised arse and not in a fun way.
Yesterday I got sent a photo and it caused me to tip my glass of water down me (I missed my mouth). And just now I was sent one and ended up ch*king on my coffee.
Previous threads on this subject have featured "the one where Posh missed the toilet seat" and "the one where Posh fell off the bed and down the stairs taking a photo for fab"
Please tell me I'm not the only completely clumsy moron here.....
This thread is....
Part look at me cos I'm a shameless attention seeking whore apparently, part giving you this to make you giggle and part really hoping I'm not the only spanner in here |

I do trip over my own shadow… I’m crap with my feet…
Having said that I’ve got great reflexes and if something falls from the cupboard or something I seem to be able to save it… so |

I'm a spanner and can't hide it.
I've always got bruises, at the moment I have one on my head where I somehow managed to hit myself with a tin of tomatoes and one on my knuckles where I threw a hand up mid-orgasm and smacked the wall.
You're certainly not on your own with weird ways to injure yourself! |

Oh as a teen right through to my late 30s i regularly used to fall down stairs.. Once went down the enormous York M+S stairs (escalators now ) i always have to hold the hand rail.. In China i went down the great wall on my bum 'cos there was no hand rail!
I'm always covered in inexplicable bruises in strange places
I've got a cut on my lip.. No idea how it happened
I also fall off the bed during various activities but that is, ummm, explicable |

I'm a lot less clumsy than I used to be since being diagnosed with a B12 deficiency. Apparently it's one of the main symptoms. Extreme tiredness, lethargy, walking into walls, clumsiness, forgetting words, depression to mention just a few.... Its not something that they test for routinely either. |

I walked into one of those supermaket revolving glass doors once with about 20 casual observers
I thought it had opened all the way.. I banged my nose +forehead really badly and i was so embarrassed, i walked out through the exit and escaped to my car to 'lick my wounds'
I noticed the following week they'd put stickers on the glass
It made a hell of a bang haha |

"When I’m walking down the stairs with a cup of tea I always say to myself “be careful with this”. Most of the time I go on to spill it. Lol. "
You risk stairs with a hot drink?
Brave man. |

Wow! That's extreme! I hope it's not too bad?

Usually, just before that time of the month I become extremely clumsy and can't seem to hold on to anything, things just drop out of my hands.
Last night I shut the car door on my thumb.
Regularly have random bruises on my legs from banging into furniture that jumps in the way. |

"I have cuts on my arms and hands that I don't know how I did them. Cut my thumb open changing a oven light bulb. Nearly lost the top of my finger catching a falling wooden gate"
I do that.... randomly wonder where the cuts and usually burns come from....
I've never caught a gate though.... |

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’ |
I take medication that makes my hands shake. It's just the side effects of the drugs. All of them have them!
As a kid I was always dropping mugs & plates & breaking them byeyond repair...
I wouldn't have got a job as a juggler or been able to run away with the circus as an acrobat. (LOL)
Martial arts sorted a lot of probs with my shakes as well as left & right problem co-ordination. I had some very patient teachers....
I think I'm like the joke:-
"I’m not clumsy, The floor just hates me, the table and chairs are bullies and the walls get in my way." |

Yes, I know it's my fault & I deserve it! "
I've never been that distracted. Honest. Really.
Well. Maybe. Once. Twice at a push.
I walk into posts and walls and people because I'm looking at the handsome men ALL THE DAMN TIME. |

"I often have a tendency to get tonthe top of the stairs with less coffee in my mug than I had at the bottom. And I've lost count how many times I've decorated the star walls with coffee "
When will people learn.... drinks are a single floor only activity. Wasting coffee is outrageous! |

I’ve been known to injure myself. Scar on my forehead from falling out of a tree when I was 11,
one on my elbow from falling off my bike when I was 12
Dislocated shoulder more than once.
Dislocated thumb
Broken nose
Christ knows how many times I’ve crashed when mountain biking as an adult
Scar on my thumb from a saw slipping when doing DIY.
Almost cut my foot off when an angle grinder kicked out while cutting a paving slab….. (which is why I wear safety boots now)
Yeah I’m clumsy |

Terribly clumsy although since being pregnant I’ve been less so.
If there is something to knock over I’ll be the one to do it. If there is someplace to fall it will be me.
Most recent bad clumsy was when I was waiting for my ex in a bar and I realised I had attached my fishnets to a bar stool and couldn’t release them. Had to wait for him to arrive (late) before I could move. Then later that day, we went to put his things in hotel room and there was a step down. I walked into room, fell and knocked my head off the door frame. I ended up with 2 black eyes |

I feel I shouldn't confess.... I did chuckle at both of those. Mainly because I've done them |

That's both spanner like and impressive!
