"Am I the only one who's got problems with the Wi-fi?
It keeps lagging and the restarts
Again and again
I might think of change it !

I changed to Virgin and had that same problem.
I’m with Smarty now which is off 3 - bit better but it’s a recurring monthly contract so can change with notice. |

Had recent issues with my hub. Two methods I use to restore it are either
1) Unplug it completely and leave it an hour. It’s allows the device cache to erase itself on power up leading to a fresh boot up
2) Connect to the settings page via a web browser and factory restore the settings. Again another clean wipe getting rid of unnecessary cache files etc.
Both combined are a good fix, but either one should work for a while, though not ideal |

It's been a few years since I was with them but I had continuous issues. They said they were revamping the servers but I was a good 9 months being fobbed off, given fix dates only for those dates to sail by with no change.
I'm with sky now and have no problems. |

Omg don’t get me started.
They are possibly one of THE worst companies in the entire world!
Their service is shite, their broadband speeds are shite, they charge way more than they should and they are generally shite!

used to have virgin, its not the network, its the crap router, put it in modem mode and get a decent wifi router thats linked, did that and no problems,now have talk talk never had a problem |

I pay £52 q month
I called them the other day
I've waited on the line 40 minutes ..they told me that they changed the frequency and should be ok!
Yesterday the lagging problem start again!

Best story ever at the start of the year.
Where's your router says Virgin ...... oh up there is it .... well the signal can't travel to your computer ?
Really ? says I. I'm supposed to be able to get the service in the HOUSE not one room.
He then proceeds to tell me how he went to a house cos their signal was bad and when he asked the fat husband to change seats with the fat wife..... one of them got a signal......
See he said ..... the signal couldn't get through one of the fat customers to their partners laptop
I kid you not. The virgin signal doesn't go through fat people.
Then he told me how much they'd charge for bringing it from the loft....... I said hang on ....
Walked up the loft ladders..... put on a longer cable and positioned it on the landing myself for fuck all .......
