It's the person attached to it, and what they can do with it that's most important.

Why should we have to choose ?
I'd go for girth but if it's only the length of a Tuna tin i'm not interested.
Length is good but if it's as long as a large cucumber it's a no go.
It's looking promising if it's both the length and the girth of tallish can of G and T or a slimmish jar of olives.
