What would be the description?
The body of a woman who has carried a child perhaps?
Don't you 2 start
What? That was a good description!
I'm off out for a shag in a bit, don't worry "

Does that have any relation to the dad bod description ? I'm just curious as I'm trying to understand why dad bods are dad bods |

Of course there is. I've only ever known one woman who had her body back to normal after carrying a child.
My tits aren't like they used to be after breastfeeding. I also have a little belly now and my stomach will probably never be completely flat.
And let's not forget about the women who get stretch marks, stitches, tears, carry complications from epidurals, scars from c-sections, loose skin and much more.
I don't even know why dad bod is even a thing. It's ridiculous because it's somehow seen as a more positive and attractive thing rather than a mum bod. |

Interested in the definition of a mum bod.
Most would say its where a woman has stretch marks and a tummy or just a tummy after having kids.
But I've had 4 kids. So what's mine then? Does mine count? It's still a body and I'm still a mum. |

The reasons I ask is because as far as I can think into what a dad bod must actually be is a dad that sits on his arse all day whilst the mam does it all, I could be wrong now though, it could actually be a description of a fella that looks like he's carried a child

You've said in the past that you would never know you had kids because your body didn't change? And so for that reason I wouldn't say you have what is often described as a mum bod. But that doesn't mean you're not a mum and less worthy than those of us who do. |

I think dad bods are so named because most dads are busy being dads and so can't spend every evening in the gym.
They stay fit by chasing their kids round the park, but they don't have time to have perfect muscles.
No idea how accurate that is, but I think that's where the expression came from? |

I'm a dad and I spend all day running round, picking up clothes, emptying washing machines filling up driers, emptying bins, cleaning bedrooms, hoovering stairs
Cleaning dishes pots and pans, sorting socks and ironing uniforms, sorted out dinners on the gateway app, sorting new uniforms on 1 identity
How can a person look unfit and like they don't go the gym? I'm in no need of a gym lol
Exercise all day everyday
That's without chucking spanners about |

Mum tum is definitely in common usage. Breastfeeding 2 kids over 2 years has left the tops of my boobs empty. Add to that I had 3rd degree tears and ended up in theatre after having my kids. I'd say my body has changed forever. |

I always thought Dad Bods were the ones who had a little belly on them but not a full blown beer belly and slightly less toned than a gym bod.
I'm probably wrong as well. |

When ever I see or hear the term dad bod all I can think about is some Rab C Nesbitt type chap sat on his lazy arse dictating telling his woman to get him a beer

A woman’s body after she has given the greatest gift is something to be desired and appreciated. There should be no downside considered. |

I'd say I have a mum bod, bit of a tummy overhang, c section scar, a few stretch marks here and there and boobs aren't as perky as they once were but I'm pretty happy with it |

I think those dad bods are doing OK with the ladies. Who doesn't appreciate a nice body but if the mind is shallow and the person ignorant than I lose interest. |

Proud of my Mum bod, my stretch marks and the wobbly bits because my body carried the most precious things in my life.
I was lucky to conceive so at all so yep for that I am proud. When I think about my body or my weight I remember that actually I'm not that bad for a soon to be 47 year old |

I can understand that.
I wouldn't have minded having something to show the fact I have kids. Some people think that's weird. I lost my already small boobs though I changed the fact. |
