I'm intrigued with how it works with the 5 and 10 ball overs and the strategy behind them because it's as new for the players as it is for us. Those side graphics though...  |

I'm going to watch the Southern Braves(I think that's what they're called) on Friday at the Rose Bowl. Quite looking forward to it.
I'm a Somerset supporter usually but Southampton is closer than Cardiff. |

Decent cricket, surely you jest?
T20 and this 100 debacle are just rounders or baseball in disguise. Is there little wonder that the test side find if hard to score 300 runs when we have such vile strains of a game that in its purist form is the ultimate in physical chess?
The names of the teams make me shudder and the fact that the main sponsors are all fast / snack food manufacturers says it all.
We become more Americanised with each passing day. The bastardisation of a beautiful game into quick burst of slash and hack is just awful.

I suppose the Birmingham broccoli or the Lords legumes would not get as much sponsorship... Perhaps the Durham diabetics or the Edgbaston endomorphs.. To go alongside the KFC canterbury chickens and the burgerking Bristol pounders...
