Good morning

I'm sitting here unable to sleep too.

Sorry, I can't suggest anything truly productive that I'm sure you've not already tried coz if I could, then I'd be asleep myself .. lol

i'd love to be asleep right now but i'm 3 hours off from finishing my night shift. half hour drive home. then do you think i'll be able to sleep? no! will have to make kids breakfast (as hubby will be heading out to work) and get them to holiday club, by the time i get home i'll be wide awake again so if i'm lucky i may just fall asleep about 11ish for a couple of hours before going back in to work again for another night shift...

so for everyone who works nights, whats your secret?

how do you manage to sleep , and have a good sleep at that ?

morning pp xxx

i spent best part of yesterday throwing up so was napping but last night kept getting stabbing pains in my tummy and my god its sore. so a combination of those two is why i had lack of sleep

Very strange night, yawning like mad last night, so wide they was bigger than my gob so went to bed at 10pm, at 11pm I was still lying there wide awake! Woke at 6am feeling absolutely diabolical, think I would have rather stayed awake all night

Oh no, get yourself off to the NHS emergency dentist, doesn't feel then like one is being ripped off as the dentist I now use is brilliant even though I don't understand his Polish accent, I just nod a lot

I normally sleep like the dead but the last couple of nights I've been waking up at odd hours, then when I have to get up I can't!!

Doesn't help that last night I fell asleep with my leg in the air then when it fell down I cracked my toes on the footboard

Generally seems to be better if you're in bed and can't sleep to get up and do something, such as reading etc, in another room. Takes the self-pressure off, and disassociates the bedroom from being unable to sleep.

Warm baths, warm drinks, such as hot milk is good too. I sometimes pop outside, rub some Lavender too, as this is relaxing/calming.
