Read this article today and thought it important to share.
"Some men with atypically large penises struggle to find women who can accommodate them, but it is not certain that your friend falls into this category. After a long period of abstinence – and most likely hormonal diminution – some women do experience some vaginal atrophy that restricts penetration with a penis of any size.
Consider experimenting with gentle self-penetration once you are aroused through masturbation (use lubrication); this may help you understand your current genital physiology. But most likely, if you want to receive penetration comfortably again, it would be wise to consult a sexual medicine professional who may be able to help. Typical treatments include hormone therapy, sex therapy and vaginal dilation."

I think age is also a factor but not necessarily the only factor.
I know from chatting to a lot of guys they don't believe they can be too big but it's real and does affect women a lot. It can cause pain to ripping. Certainly as we age and especially during menopause, the drop in estrogen makes us much less able to get wet and also the link g of the vagina becomes thinner and prone to ripping.
Products that not only moisturise but also repair and thicken the vagina wall, are available in plenty.
It's a subject not often touched upon but a very important one. |

"I recently had sex with someone I've seen a few times and he felt much bigger than usual.
Maybe my vagina shrunk "
It's a possibility, but as long as it's not painful, keeping it up will get you back to normal. Personally at my age I can't recommend a bit of lube enough! |

Did you put it on a 60 degree wash? "

Or perhaps he genuinely just has a massive dong, likes to pull up to the bumper and knocks the back wall out of the garage.
I know vajayjays are legendarily tough but cervixes less so and I've known at least one woman who didn't like her husband's large cock (mine was a nice fit apparently, which is the one and only time I get to brag about a dead average 5.5") |

I dated a woman for a few dates before we decided to book a hotel room for a romantic evening....now I know from previous dates that she had cancer treatment a few years earlier but hadn't had sex since the treatments...anyway, to cut a story short after lots of kissing and undressing and we was both naked in the bedroom she asked me to politely go gentle, which i obviously agreed to, however, being that wasn't the problem, her (what was a lovely looking) pussy was so tight, I even struggled to get a finger in let alone anything else, nor was I going to force the issue...I has been told that certain cancer treatments can have this effect, I always took it with a pinch of salt till I witnessed it first hand. So, yes I do believe it can happen, but not just from lack of use |

Thanks for this info. That's very valuable to know and yet another reason how it can happen |

This is not talked about enough vaginal atrophy is a problem for a lot of women and knowledgeable and understanding doctors very few and far between. The truth is that it is not always fully reversible (although much can be done to improve the situation) and lots of women aren't able to use hormone based products. Pamela Stephenson is great but she does tend to give answers that are a bit glib |

I just thought I'd point out that I think that's Pamela Stephenson from Not The 9 O'clock News, wife of Billy Connolly. Not relevant, but interesting. |

Lots of lube and relaxation and take away pressure to penetrate. You don’t have to do it. Get used to other things and you may find just partial not whole length is ok |

It does happen and it is real, especially after the menopause.
My advice would be to treat it like someone who wants to try anal for the first time - plenty of lubrication and start small and slow. And don't force it if you're getting no pleasure out of the experience.

In my life, there are only two men I have had pain-free sex with. One was my ex - who was only 4 inches erect - the other was a lover who was around 6 inches.
There is definitely such a thing as too big!! |
