I work as a physical therapist and I am not allowed to have visible tattos ( on face, neck or hands). These are the only restrictions (regarding tattos) anyone can enforce in any working environment |

"Police can’t on hands face neck or ears. And no facial piercings either. "
They also have to wear long sleeved shirts if they are on their lower arms or are visible past a short sleeve. |

Not in West Mercia they don't. They can have tattoos uncovered and on display, they aren't allowed to have images depicting any kind of hate or symbols relating too |

They dont seem to have that rule in Essex. An officer that came to my work the other day had a full sleeve and a short sleeve shirt. |

It must depend on individual force policy. I know cops with sleeves and hand/neck tattoos, and they don't have to wear long sleeves.

I know some very tattooed nurses and midwives. I think the only profession I've heard of these days where they can be an issue is standard fashion modelling (obviously fine for alt fashion modelling). |
