Agree to a large extent with Granny, but it wouldn't put it quite in the Awful category. It was certainly over-long, and very weak in places. Could and should have been edited down to a max of 90 mins. And, of course, they got over-hyped on Seth McFarlanes success with Family Guy to sell it, while forgetting that just because you can make a successful TV series, does NOT mean you can make a successful movie.

I can't remember the other one or two funny ones..... Honest... we thought it was a dire film .... |

I love Seth MacFarlane's stuff - mostly pointless but funny one-liners. He's currently got 3 very successful shows airing here and in the US - Family guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show. I enjoyed Ted, but it could have been a little more thoughtfully written. Not bad for a major-film first release though. |

I watched in anticipation of splitting my sides... sadly I was disappointed!!
the only bit I actually laughed out loud at was the "Tubby McFatfuck" line.. it still makes me giggle
