"Booking fees, handling charges or whatever bs name is applied to a rip off extra added to tickets by do-nothing middle men. "
I don't object to a reasonable service charge, but some of them are ridiculous - think the worst I saw was £3 to print my own ticket at home, using my own ink and paper!! |

People who have 10 kids and no job and keep on having them quite happily knowing someone else is picking up the bill - doesnt mean someone who has a big family and ends up unemployed through no fault of their own - the ones who just think sod it why do i have to worry - them!! |

"School Dinners, under a certain age they should be free especially for young kids. "
Why should the state pay to feed children? If you choose to have children then you should feed them. Free school meals are there for those that need them. Yes I am a parent, have been a struggling single parent and hate to see children going hungry but the state can’t afford to keep paying out all the time (unless to their mates for PPE of course)

My prescriptions. I didn't choose to have a heart condition. Feels a bit like having to pay to be alive .
Also rediculous parking charges. I'd rather walk if I can park somewhere further either free or significantly cheaper. It's even more insulting when you have to pay to park at work. |

"Council tax. It's my most hated bill. Especially when my job role is funded by the council, in one hand and out the other.
I understand why I pay it, doesn't mean I have to like it!!
Her x"
Exactly what I had in mind when I said tax on tax. Why not take it from source before tax. |

Having enjoyed a lovely meal with excellent service we are presented with the bill. I fully intended to tip handsomely but read that there is a service charge on the bill. Mood changes instantly and I insist it is removed and leave with out leaving a tip at all. Grrrrrr |

Extra postage charges because some ignorant English folk think Aberdeen is the Highlands and Islands of Scotland
Adult entry into children's entertainment/activities...believe me I will not be partaking in any soft play so why do I have to pay an entry fee too! |

Because I still pay enough into this country for my kids to get school dinners like I used too when I was a child.
And yes I do pay for my kids, I don't just pile them out and expect other people too.
Free school meals should be available to all young kids regardless to how much parents earn as I'm still paying my fair share into this country like every one else is. |

Not sure to be honest I've always paid for my kids meals since Nursery school age.... |

"Using cash machines
What? Is this a thing? Pardon my ignorance but I don’t often use them. Are we charged for using them?"
Because banks have been closing branches in lots of small towns, there are quite a lot of “commercial” cash machines that are the only ones available to some people…. And they can charge up to £5 for taking your own money out |

Use the post office if you have one local, it's free to withdraw then |

There’s a good tip. Thanks for explaining. I can see it’s a service provided by a third party that is charging for it and not the bank. I can understand that.
It’s why the cashless society needs to be more quickly adopted and inclusive to make cash less necessary. |

To add to this, you'll be buying massively overpriced drinks too, so totally agree with your point! |

You know when you book a holiday and hire a car and you think you've paid for the highest level of insurance only to get to the desk and they tell you any scratch will be charged at €1 squillion so you end up paying another €150 |

Flowers, they are already dead and will only look worse over time, much better to buy someone a plant that will grow and last for years.
With flowers, you are literally buying something to watch it rot.
Don’t get me wrong, I love giving flowers as other love to receive them, but it’s a bit of a con really, I can’t think of any other product that you buy in a dead state and then watch as it decomposes over time. |

Foreign Aid.
Oh hang on, our government has reduced it, phew.
Oh hang on, there IS enough money in the world to reduce child and global poverty, but it’s controlled by 1% of which 99% are arseholes.
I hate that we have to pay towards charities and that the rich don’t reduce their bank balances, Jeff Bezos could solve problems for literally BILLIONS of people, instead he’s racing Branson into space.
What happened to looking out for people, being a community? Seems like the advent of flags and money has meant we can justify watching people suffer, they aren’t in our country, it’s not our problem. We are all people, we should all be looking out for everyone. What’s the point in having the most advanced intellect if even ANTS can get keeping everyone alive and equal for the betterment of everyone.

"You resent having to pay for? "
I don't resent having to pay for things. I do not work for free so I never expect anything else to be. As for people too tight to pay for a ladies drink or a Fab membership, they'll get what they deserve. |

I kind of agree but it hits a sour note when we are giving aid to a country that has a space program |

Public transport problems. The oyster card and payment methods can take your money off but can't put it back on when the service is shit. Sunday service timetables into major cities starting at the time when people should be in work. Congestion charge at nights and weekends. |
