Should add I was three and have flown regularly all my life. Mrs flew for the first time at the age of 30. She got annoyed with me because she was super excited she asked to sit in the window seat and eagerly took everything in, I on the other hand sat down and was asleep before push back. |

I think my mum shoved me on a plane when I was like 3 yrs old.
First time I was on my own and that I can actually
remember was at the age of 9-10 (I had an air hostess who obviously looked after me) |

Yes it was and then my own job saw me continue to travel the world. I was extremely lucky as a child but didn't appreciate it, just thought everybody flew and lived in other countries as and when they wanted. I was surprised when as a 15 year old I went to my first UK school and discovered that most had barely left the county never mind the country. |

"It was in a twin engined Cessna around Lincolnshire with my Uncle piloting and a five year old me sat on my Dad's lap in the cockpit as we flew along the Humber estuary."

I can remember taxing for take off, my grandmother looking out of the window down towards the Humber bridge and Dad and me sat on the right side upfront.
It didn't seem like we were up for long, thinking back I wonder how my Uncle got clearance for that little family jolly. |

Late 60s/early 70s flew quite a bit - vaguely remember my first trip being to Scotland with my Mum on something to do with her business at the time - also flew to Corfu and Benidorm on hols around that time too.
Then didn't fly again until the early 80s when in the Sea Cadets we were flown back from a "beach assault" to HMS Interpid and winched down to the ship one by one.

Yes it has some who went up same time were waiting long time I was lucky went up first time! Was lovely when the game wernt going just floating along had a sunset one could almost see heaven! X |
