I'm a little more reserved. I'm friendly and will generally speak to anyone such as striking up a conversation at the bus stop or in a queue for something. However, quite often, men have approached me in the supermarket or somewhere and what started out friendly on their part, very quickly turned creepy. |

I think I’m pretty approachable, I’ll happily talk to anyone.
Though I have what’s commonly known as resting bitch face so people seem to think I’m annoyed/angry and leave me alone  |

I’m very approachable, in fact I’ve made it my mission in my work life to make IT departments more approachable. As an IT manager I recognise the toxic elitism that goes on and I want that to change |

Not very. I’m extremely shy and struggle with chit chat, small talk.
I’ll speak if I’m spoken to and I’ll help someone if I can (getting beans off a top shelf or something) but I have been told I appear stand offish.

As a guy, not very approachable to be honest unless we have some common interest.
In girl mode a lot more approachable, if I think your motives are sound and not being overtly sexual or treating me a bit creepily.  |

In real life, I'll chat to anyone. I can be best friends with someone after a 20 minute train ride!
On here, still pretty chatty but only to "nice" people.

We decided, on holiday, a swingers holiday, to say hello to the first couple or single guy who was sitting at the bar when we first walked in.

I don't like small talk either. There's only so much I take about talking about the weather & keeping a conversation at that (low) level going. I understand why small talk exists; it's generally to indicate that you are a normal person & don't present a danger to a new person that doesn't know you properly yet.
To overcome this, I tend to say hello to people's dogs and pet them if the owner gives me permission. That shows them that I'm not a complete psychopath.
-I also just love dogs. |

Working in hospitality for so many years you have to be, no matter what.shit you are personally dealing with.

Many have tried and many have failed at starting random conversations with me.
Especially annoying are those that try one on in shopping queues and out walking the dogs. |
