Just attempted to check out the thread Am I too old, and got a pop up which told me ( You do not have permission to view this thread) WTF is that about ?  |

Usually means that something contraversial against the forum rules has gone on, and the thread has been deleted. You might have got an old link to it, but if you look at the forum list again you will probably not be able to find it anymore. |

Don't worry OP, it's happened to me on more than one occasion, where I've typed out quite a long and detailed post, press send, and that message means that's 2 minutes of ma life that I'll never get back   |

The thread was being closed or moved or trimmed by admin/mods and with regards to your age at least people know that you would indeed meet 99 year olds!!!!
