I was talking to a friend of my lads when he dropped into conversation, that he'd made an impulse purchase of a unicycle!

What's your craziest impulse purchase?

Full hazmat suit and gasmask when someone on the forums convinced me I wouldn't be safe without one

Giant wreath at Christmas last year. Its almost as wide as my dining table which isn't exactly tiny. And then there's all the baubles I put on it and lights

Lockdown boredom at its finest I guess.

It's not arrived yet, but sure I'll wear it shopping with a regular blue disposable face mask over the gas mask, with a sign the end is neigh just for shits and giggles, and a free trip to the quack.

A very bright green woolie cardigan in Tokyo that cost £700. Never wore the damn thing as it was itchy and ugly. My daughter finally sold it recently on Vinted

How much of a return did you make on your investment? Iknow a lady that could help you with trading in stocks.

A big electric kalimba (ancient african instrument), laid out like a piano.

I sold it about a year later to a composer in the games industry.

A car. I had a car I loved get stolen and, although I had the insurance money, I didn't want another car as it was just too painful (I know, I'm crazy and soppy). Anyway, on a trip out about a year later, I just thought I'd pop into a car dealership to have a look round at what they had and I bought a new car there and then, it just felt right.

Mr does this occasionally, he is banned from eBay after he purchased a cello (he can’t play) a narrow boat, a set of throwing knives, a Cajon and some giant african land snails.

I have to discourage trips to aldi or Lidl as he has been known to come back with a polytunnel and a drum kit.

They seem happy, it’s hard to tell though, they aren’t the most expressive of pets.

You are welcome to try, it’ll probably end up costing you a small fortune with nothing practical to show for it though.

Didn't we have a great white shark, swimming 40 minutes off the coast of Dorset a few years ago. As the waters get warmer, you might just need that

4x pork joints from a fella in a pub

Totally regretted it after I gave him the money

They were obviously stolen

It was pure impulse

I never had a carrier bag neither

Had the police gone past I could have easily been nicked .

I don't really do crazy impulse purchases. Nothing out there in that sense, watches are my usual impulse buy but that's pretty sensible.

Dr**k purchases however are very different.

48 x 500g boxes of cheerios, I dont like them

A beach towel with skid Mark's on it, came from china about 6 weeks after I ordered it.

I bright green zoot suit

Amongst much other random crap

Not a full size one, just like a mini version of our toilet with removable pan no prizes for guessing where it was from either and yes it was grey. 29.99 in the dangerous isle. Bargain. Ideal for camping tho, never been used still

If somebody bumped into it, it would say "step away from the vehicle"in a very loud voice.
