Managing to catch covid before we even reach freedom day….
So he went to Wembley last weekend…. Had a couple of photo ops at care homes this week… and apparently had a one on one face to face meeting with our dear pm… I am guessing he will have been pinged by the app!!
So… erm… yeah! |

"Much the same as when our illustrious PM got himself hospitalised from glad handing frontline carers.

I didn’t really answer your OP.
It’s not really ironic but it doesn’t instil confidence and just feels a touch shambolic, even though it’s not hard to catch the Delta variant and it seems to be everywhere at the moment |

there will be a point when we all have to catch it like the flu its almost impossible to avoid it i have been double jabbed and dont think ive had it but hope that when i do the vaccine will work and ill have a sniffle and feel a bit shit for a few days then carry on like a bad cold.
Politicians may be dicks but they will catch it like the rest of us so its not surprising to me he caught it but it would be funny if boris had to isolate on freedom day haha |

"I think the politicians have given up in respect of covid. They'd rather be cheered for freedom day than control the disease.

My thoughts too. Although to be fair they’re damned if they do and damned if they don’t.
I wouldn’t like to be that one making these decisions. |

"I don’t see any irony when you look at how many whole years of schools and workplaces are isolating right now, it’s everywhere. "
Agree, but I can see how it doesn't spark much confidence in the "masks quasi-optional; go back to the physical workplace; go clubbing; remove social distancing" guidance when the virus is so prevalent. |

I’ve no faith in this freedom day and am going nowhere. But I do think there will never be a good time to start living with it so start of school holidays seems the better option. Let’s just hope people are considerate… |
