Ha! Caught you. Did you think I got tempted to make a thread about myself.. ? naah.
How happy you are with your username? Are you attached to it or it's been a random choice? Is there a point in changing one after years or people will always associate you with your old one ?
I changed mine about 2 years ago. Now feeling the itch sometimes. Just sometimes. |

My first name was impulsive and rather cringe. A wise friend helped me see that and now I'm very happy with it, especially when people get the reference (book or film).
I will definitely not be changing it to ThatLazyBastardLeo whatever some say. |

it's so melodic. It suits your voice too. I had that thought when I listened to it. |

How does ginger hair grey? I thought you were luckier than us ordinary dark haired people. |

I really like my username, I think it suits me, is memorable and quite a few people know me as Meli so it would be weird to change it now. I get tempted to do a festive twist on it but then it will be lost forever to me and I'm fond of it. |

"Its a bit shit tbh, but cba to change it.
If it works, it works. It's easy to remember"
We’ve had so many screen names over the years on so many different platforms; some funny, some serious. These days I don’t care what we get called as long as I know you are talking to us |

"Not attached as such but it is nice when someone recognises the meaning and messages me about it.
I don't. Will Google help. I'm slow today. "
Yes, but skip the number. It's a reference to my love of the outdoors and that I am not the type to use fake hair/lashes/nails etc. |

"I keep wondering whether to go back to hippychick "
When I was Red Velvet,(briefly), there was a totally different tone to the messages I received. Tempted again to change it for a while, but someone always steals it when I do. |

I am quite taken with this one now yes. I was a bit loathe to give up my last one, but it represented a different time for me on fab so all that can be (happy) past. |

Yes that's always the risk if you want to go back to it. |

That is me too in many ways. I have different names for kik/Telegram/fab/other accounts. So indecisive |

I've noticed that too with each change. This one works so I'm really not sure why I'm itching at times for change..
My very first profile had a quite miserable username it really affected the way I was treated I feel. |

"Now it's about me
How would you pronounce my username without Google help.. "
Tuber Rose
Seeing as my username was chosen as I was fed-up with choosing usernames I quite like the meaningless of it.
Have thought about 'CaptainHowdy' but not at the moment. The usual username I've used I don't think would fit. |

Mines fine. Some know the reference, some don't have a clue who magneto is.
And it's not easily searchable on Google. My last one, davelikestolickbuttcracks used to lead right back to me if searched on Google. |

I find that certain names ‘fit’ people, even if they change their username, they become known as that name. I know several fabbers personally but still use their fab name.
I think that even if I changed my fab name, I’d still be known as Tea, TM or Monkey. Hell, Amana has me in her phone as Tea! |

I've been several different usernames before, but I like this one best. I think it suits me, and it's easy to say...although the amount of people that put a double L in Lily makes my inner spelling nerd grimace |

Some of my close friends aren't able to switch from Rose to my name either

It is, the name is based on my admiration of her journey through life, and how she dealt with adversity had yet had so much passion for life. So you actually hit the nail on the head of why my user name is what it is |

S_and_S aludes to who we are, but it is what it stands for that has the meaning...
Senpai means "teacher" , and Seiko means "exquisite".
Both are Japanese and alude to us as a couple, and some of our interests... Such as shibari!
I don't think we would change it now... |

I used to be 'Commander Foxtrot' (Still am, theoretically). My line was "Any lady breakers burning plenty of candles?" I eschewed crudities such as "1-4 for a leg over".
Got me far more nookie than this site ever has and had the advantage that if you could work them they would be near enough to visit. |
