So. It’s hot, so…what kind of icecream are you having?

I’ve got a NUII pecan and caramel in the freezer waiting for me. But I’m fancying proper gelato if I can get my ass out to go to a gelateria.

Pistachio and hazelnut for me !!!

I'm an ice cream snob. I will only eat proper dairy ice cream, or gelato as the fancy name is now. Basically, if it melts it should look like milk not foam.

Hazelnut & chocolate are my favourites.

The caramel and vanilla got finished last night with my best mate. Anyone care to bring more? A good vanilla is fine. Doesn't need to be fancy flavoured.

Gelato is just perfection. I think the difference is consistency but also temperature as gelato is cold but not as cold as ice cream (hence why it melts quicker) x

We have a great local icecream place in a little village called Blyton. They make gorgeous icecream in oodles of flavours. My favourite is probably strawberries and cream.

Failing that we have strawberry icecream in the freezer...I think.

I agree with Kylie though, proper Italian gelato is the best. Never found any in the UK that compares.

I get mine from the local farm, they have a little shack on their land where you can go and get their home made ice cream using milk from the cow. It is delicious
