Literally need someone to cut my card in half I’m spending money on shit I don’t really need…
Just bought some Chloe earrings for £80 cos they were discounted from £200…. I NEED HELP!
So ….. what have you last splurged some money on? And do you feel like you need someone to snap ur card in half?

We are both tight-arses. We have very good incomes but still raid charity shops for vintage clothes and have just refurbished a house mostly from reclamation yards.
Our one luxury used to be holidaying abroad at least 3 times a year so looking forward to when we can resume that! |

When I split up from my Mrs, I went a bit mental
End result financially was I ended up £45k in debt
I set myself a target to be 'debt free' by 40 and I achieved it
I still have some debt if you count a mortgage and a car loan, but I have no overdraft and I use credit cards cleverly, never spending more than I can pay back before the interest kicks in
It is a 'trap' that I wish no one finds themselves in
It is draining beyond belief
I do treat myself, have nice things in the house etc, but I no longer go on expensive holidays, I don't buy designer or high end goods, just because there's a name on them, I don't buy clothes just cos I like them, but because I have a genuine need for them
Lesson learned. The hard way. |

"New watch a few weeks ago. Didn't need another as I have 8 but it's a lovely watch so I bought it."
Hahah I love this! I think sums it up, it’s stuff we don’t need but can’t help and buy more of it… cos we love them lol |
